V Foundation
Partner Since 2025
Cancer Vaccine Coalition is proud to partner with the V Foundation for Cancer Research—one of the most respected and top-rated cancer research organizations.
Together, CVC and the V Foundation are launching the Game Changer Grants – committed to supporting the most promising breast cancer vaccine clinical trials. The grants will be awarded through the V Foundation’s renowned Scientific Advisory Committee, with insight from Cancer Vaccine Coalition Scientific Advisory Board members and experts within breast cancer and immunology. This will ensure each project reflects scientific excellence and high-impact research that will transform patient care.
The V Foundation, founded by legendary basketball coach Jim Valvano, has awarded nearly $400 million in research grants since 1993, supporting life-saving cancer research at some of the nation’s leading institutions. The V foundation chose to partner with the Cancer Vaccine Coalition because of our focus on advancing vaccine-based immune treatments and therapies.
“Breast cancer vaccines are urgently needed to improve long-term outcomes for patients,” said Susanna Greer, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer at the V Foundation.
Therapeutic cancer vaccines represent one of the most hopeful frontiers in cancer care By joining forces, the V Foundation and CVC are working to turn that hope into real treatments—faster.
